Human Development Report 2016 Arabic Language

by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Human Development Report 2016 Arabic Language Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Human Development Report 2016 Arabic Language books, The 2016 Human Development Report focuses on how human development can be ensured for every one, now and in future. It starts with an account of the hopes and challenges of today’s world, envisioning where humanity wants to go. Our vision draws from and builds on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that the 193 member states of the United Nations endorsed last year, and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the world has committed to achieve. The Report explores who has been left behind in human development progress and why. It argues that to ensure that human development reaches everyone, a mere mapping of the nature and location of deprivations is not enough. Some aspects of the human development framework and assessment perspectives have to be brought to the fore. The Report also identifies the national policies and key strategies to ensure that will enable every human being achieve at least basic human development and to sustain and protect the gains. And it addresses the structural challenges of global institutions and presents options for reform.

Ethnography And Human Development

by Richard Jessor, Ethnography And Human Development Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Ethnography And Human Development books, Studies of human development have taken an ethnographic turn in the 1990s. In this volume, leading anthropologists, psychologists, and sociologists discuss how qualitative methodologies have strengthened our understanding of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development, and of the difficulties of growing up in contemporary society. Part 1, informed by a post-positivist philosophy of science, argues for the validity of ethnographic knowledge. Part 2 examines a range of qualitative methods, from participant observation to the hermeneutic elaboration of texts. In Part 3, ethnographic methods are applied to issues of human development across the life span and to social problems including poverty, racial and ethnic marginality, and crime. Restoring ethnographic methods to a central place in social inquiry, these twenty-two lively essays will interest everyone concerned with the epistemological problems of context, meaning, and subjectivity in the behavioral sciences.

Human Development

by Franco Imoda, Human Development Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Human Development books, This book is a magisterial treatment of the wide spectrum of psychological aspects of growing in grace as a spiritual creature, while also developing as a human being. For the author 'being human' is physical, psychological, and spiritual. The integration of all three is for him a possibility both to be desired and worked toward, not a paradox. As a teacher of teachers, Imoda has been commited to transmitting to his students a way to teach novices and laymen how growing in the love of God is a logical development from increasing the grasp of their emotional bases. For teachers this book is a 'vade mecum' which gives them a structure within which people can be encouraged to explore their emotional underpinnings, so that they may grow out of their psychological and spiritual immaturity.

Download Human Development Report 2015 Arabic Language books, Twenty five years ago the first Human Development Report in 1990 began with a simple notion: that development is about enlarging people’s choices—focusing broadly on the richness of human lives rather than narrowly on the richness of economies. This Report starts with a fundamental question—how can work enhance human development? The Report takes a broad view of work, going beyond jobs and taking into account such activities as unpaid care work, voluntary work and creative work—all of which contribute to the richness of human lives. The Report highlights impressive progress on human development over the past quarter century.

Arab Human Development Report 2016 Arabic Language

by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Arab Human Development Report 2016 Arabic Language Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Arab Human Development Report 2016 Arabic Language books, The Arab Human Development Report (AHDR) 2016 addresses the development challenges facing youth (15-29 years) in the Arab region. Historically the current youth generation is the largest youth cohort this region has had over the past 50 years, making up 30% of its population of 370 million. In light of the youth-led movements and protests during and after the 2011 uprisings, the Report argues for a renewed policy focus on youth development in the region from the perspective of human development. AHDR 2015 deals with the pillars of human development (income, education and health) with the attainment, achievement and equitable distribution of education, and with the challenges of finding stable and decent jobs. Arab youth continue to face policies of exclusion, whether political, social or economic. With protracted conflict in several Arab countries, young Arabs have become victims or perpetrators of violence, challenged by difficulties of mobility and migration. AHDR 2015 aims to engage youth in building an agenda for their future and for the future of their societies. Young Arabs have to be brought back into the centre—politically, socially, economically—by giving them a stake in their future.
